Exercise Physiologists
Description

Cameron Wellness Center, affiliated with The Washington Hospital, seeks highly skilled and motivated Exercise Physiologists. We want entrepreneurial professionals who enjoy selling, driving and achieving results.
Requirements
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or a closely related field, and certification by ACE, ACSM, NASM, or NSCA. Experience in performing fitness assessments, developing exercise prescriptions, and working with individual clients as a personal trainer is required. Hours vary according to your client appointments and include mornings, evenings and weekends.

Child Care Attendant
Description
Provide care for children—ages 6 weeks through 11 years old.  Provide constant supervision.  Create and/or carry out activities for children.  Assist with day-to-day operations.  Maintain a clean and safe environment for children and staff.  Report hazards and accidents, adhering to safety and emergency procedures.  Must approach job with enthusiasm and greet members and their children upon arrival at the nursery.  Knowledgeable in all policies and procedures related to child care with strict adherence to safety and emergency procedures.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.  Must obtain and pass Act 34 background check.  Experience in working with groups of children.  Community/infant/child CPR certified. Able to lift 20 pounds.  Must attend all in-service sessions as scheduled. Must have ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.  Must be responsible, punctual and responsible for scheduled work hours.

Front Desk Attendant
Description
Present the Center to all members and community in a highly favorable light.  Participates in community events as needed. Candidate will come in contact with as many as 100+ people per shift. Ability to multi-task with excellent communications and customer service skills are a must.  Scheduling of classes and knowledge of Center programs and procedures will be necessary to encourage the sale of services and cross-sell programs when opportunity arises.  Cashier duties as well as some light housekeeping.  Weekends:  Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.  Two years strong customer service experience necessary.  Patience, a pleasant attitude and desire to help people is needed.  Math aptitude and some computer knowledge will be necessary for cashier duties.  Must have ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.  Must be responsible, punctual and keep consistent work attendance.

Group Exercise Instructors – All Disciplines
Description
Must choreograph and instruct various types of group exercise classes.  Candidate must have the ability to plan and teach safe classes in a logical progression to the appropriate skill and fitness level of the participants.  Must be a team player with a result oriented attitude while maintaining member confidentiality, class participation and customer satisfaction. 
Requirements
One year experience and current certification by a nationally recognized fitness organization(i.e. ACE, ACSM, AFAA, etc); or 2-3 years experience in a group exercise environment and agree to obtain proper certification within 60 day of date of hire.  Must possess excellent communication skills, attend all Group Ex meetings, and be available to substitute for related group classes.  Punctuality, reliability and willingness to help members strive for fitness goals are necessary.

Swim Instructor
Description
Responsibilities include water safety and swim instruction for children and adults.  Ability to help with sign-ups and to substitute occasionally if needed.  Good customer service and communication skills needed for daily interaction with members.  Flexible schedule, up to 20 hours per week.
Requirements
WSI, Red Cross swim instruction certification and one year experience required. AED/CPR certification is also required.  Other qualifications include punctuality, reliability, and a team player attitude. CPO certification a plus.

Fitness Floor Attendant
Description
Must be a team player with a can-do attitude, who is genuinely interested in making a positive medical difference in people’s lives. 
Requirements
CPR required.  Must have ability to work irregular hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Kids Climbing Instructor – 2 openings
Description
Job requires that instructor register children in the program.  Belay students up and down climbing wall during time of class.  Use proper equipment with students.  Walk students out of the Center after class.
Requirements
Has worked with children, has climbed in the past, has Act 33/34 clearances, has passed LTC I & II verified by Center personnel.
