Parent/ guardian must start the registration process more than 48 hours prior to your first visit or purchase of your first punch card. This includes completing the emergency form and submitting payment. After registration an adult may sign up their child(ren) as early as one week prior to the class and as late as 12 noon the day of the class at the front desk.
In order to hold the class, there must be at least 5 children registered for each class. If there are not 5 children registered for the class by 12 noon on the day of the class you will be notified by phone. (Your phone number must be provided when you sign up for class.)
To sign up for a class your child’s name will be placed on the class list. If you are a punch-card holder or a single visit, and you do not show up for the class, you will be charged for the class. You must cancel by 12 noon on the day of your class if you do not want to be charged for the class.
Payment needs to be made prior to signing up for a class. Payments can be made at the front desk or by phone at the front desk.
There is a “use it or lose it” policy with this program. No credit can be given into another session nor will the sessions be transferred to other areas of the fitness center.
Refunds cannot be issued once the session has started for any reason. Sessions are Sept– December, January– May, and June– Aug.
At time of purchasing punch card you can list all children (from same household) on one card. We cannot add names to the card once it has been punched.
Kids fitness cards (10 Punches) are valid during one session only. Sessions run as follows:
Session I: Sept. 14, 2009- Dec. 18, 2009
Session II: Jan. 4, 2010- May 14, 2010
At the end of each of the sessions your card will expire. No refunds will be given. Kids fitness single visit or punch cards are non-refundable and non-transferable. Punch cards are kept at the front desk. If a punch card was purchased before 9/14/09, your card will expire on 12/31/09.
Wait list Rules:
If you are on a waiting list, you do not need to pay for class until your child is cleared to attend. You will be called as soon as an opening occurs before the start of the class. (We will allow registered participants a 5-minute late arrival, and then will open up the class.)
We discourage participants from waiting in the lobby to see if an opening occurs, so be sure to register early. Some classes may have a maximum participation.
Rules for Kids Fitness participants and parents
Please arrive for each session 15 minutes early to ensure that all participants are ready to start the class on time. We will allocate five minutes for late arrivals. At that time, we will open the class to any wait list participants.
Children will be escorted into the program area and escorted back to the designated area for pick up. Please do not pick up your child in the workout areas.
Parents must remain in the building; if parents are non-members they must remain in the front lobby
area or may purchase a non-member one-day pass.
Parents cannot observe the class due to space limitations.
Attire
Attire for the sessions includes comfortable fitness clothes (shorts, t-shirts, sweatpants, etc…) and tennis shoes.
Other Rules
All participants must receive a stamp to participate in the class.
All children must remain with an instructor while in the center
No running
Use “inside” voices
No jumping in the pool
No running on the pool deck
Please be courteous to other members and participants
Use proper care when using weights
No swearing, bad mouthing, spitting, or vulgar actions of any kind will be tolerated.
Discipline
There will be a designated “time out” area for children disobeying the fitness time rules and who continually act out during the program. The follow procedures will be used:
1st time- warning
2nd time- talk with parent
3rd time- miss one session
4th time- no longer allowed to attend program- no refunds will be given.

This introductory program for children ages 5–9 years emphasizes proper skills and techniques such as heading, passing, dribbling and shooting as well as the rules associated with regulation soccer. All activities are designed to develop coordination, physical skills, social interaction and self-esteem.

Goalkeeping Clinic

This program covers specific skills unique to the goalkeeper position. This one-day camp educates
athletes on proper exercises and drills that will improve coordination, agility and speed.

2010 Kids Fitness Classes
Kids Fitness Descriptions
Activities may vary, but generally include:
Kids Circuit – A form of strength training to work each major muscle group. Most of the class
is held on the Mezzanine using the HumanSport equipment for a series of strength exercises with
short rest periods between stations.
Kids Climbing – Challenge yourself on the Mt. Cameron indoor climbing wall while building
strength, team work and self-esteem.
Kids Fit – Similar to a boot-camp class with jogging, push-ups, sit-ups and drills.
Kids Yoga – (limited to 15) Held in the yoga studio. No yoga experience is necessary. Kids Yoga
combines dynamic movements, postures, breathing exercises and meditations into an
integrated and holistic program of physical fitness, education, social and self-awareness.
Kids Pool Games
Little Kids Boot Camp – For 2- to 5-year-olds with parent. This class is designed to bring awareness to even very young children that it is good, and fun, to exercise. Includes understanding of basic exercises: jumping, skipping, stretching, running
